Message :think for yourself. I just cast my brand new, 2nd generation, re-engineed the right way manifolds just 2 DAYS AGO. Any assertion that there "are" flow numbers or that a copied (note stock manifold and "new" MS manifolds side by side) stock manifold will flow better than a completely re-engineered manifold is naive logic.

All we have, are the numbers that Harry posted on your first gen. The second gen definently have a much higher refined value to them.
The results from the first test WERE questionable. I'm not sure how they could outflow an exhaust manifold at .3" lift, with out the venturi effect taking place (ie, a reduction in crossectional area).

:I do, however appreciate the 99% who do not post on this subject who are more open minded and appreciate one who exhibits just a little "vision". Sure, we'll have some "flow" numbers soon....and they WILL look good, but don't dismiss your common sense when you see a VW Beetle parked next to a bus.

Relax. You get needlessly too defensive. NEITHER product is on the market.
If you take a look at the negative comments being mentioned as a marketing tool, you should realize that you might want to look into the areas that people are concerned about and adress them 'internally' (ie, not on a forum). After all, you already took care of the head stud issue...

: Everyone and their gramma knows that the exhaust manifolds have been a major shortcoming since the TT's introduction in 1990. Change and acceptance of new ideas takes time, and since people have been putting up with this problem for 15 years, I should probably accept that this is no exception.

There are obviously two camps. And BOTH camps are in it for the same thing... modest gains at an attractive price. Both products are heading in that direction.

Just let your product speak for it's self.
